About Us

The Schaumburg Adult Chorus was formed in 2001, and renamed to the Schaumburg Park District Community Singers in 2006, to provide opportunities to sing choral music for residents of Schaumburg and nearby communities.

A secondary purpose of the Singers is to act as a "good will ambassador" for the Schaumburk Park District by appearing at a variety of public concerts.

We have members that are men and women of all ages and skill levels. We perform secular music of different styles including Broadway and Hollywood showtunes, popular numbers from the Big Band era, folk songs, inspirational and patriotic selections and an occasional country song. Some of the songs we are currently singing can be found here.

During the Holiday Season we include in our repertoire some of the traditional Christmas carols, Hanukah songs and a few quirky Holiday songs that will even give you a chuckle.

Our concert appearances occur at a variety of venues including assisted living centers, professional service clubs, summer festivals, such as Schaumburg's Septemberfest, Christmas events and Schaumburg Flyers baseball games.
